Civilization appears to travel along many roads—through politics, economics, science, technology, education, law, and culture. Each discipline asks its own questions and pursues its own achievements. Yet beneath these diverse paths lies a single destination.
Every enduring question ultimately becomes a question of the heart.
Will power serve love?
Will knowledge become wisdom?
Will wealth become stewardship?
Will freedom honor responsibility?
A civilization flourishes not because its institutions become more complex, but because its conscience becomes more alive. The neighbor is where every philosophy is tested, every economy is measured, every law is fulfilled, and every faith is revealed.
For all roads of conscience flow toward one heart.
And from that heart flows the life of every nation.
"Keep your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." (Proverbs 4:23)
